Global Expose TV Kabupaten Mimika, Puncak – Personnel from the Operasi Damai Cartenz Task Force 2026 continue to intensify patrol activities to ensure a sense of safety and comfort for residents carrying out their daily activities in Sinak District, Puncak Regency, Central Papua, on Sunday (March 8, 2026).
The patrols are conducted regularly by visiting several community activity points, including residential areas and public gathering spots. In addition to monitoring the security situation, personnel also engage directly with residents through dialogue, delivering public security messages while listening to community concerns and aspirations.
Head of the Damai Cartenz Operation 2026, Faizal Ramadhani, stated that the intensive patrols carried out by personnel are part of preventive measures aimed at maintaining security stability in Central Papua, particularly in Puncak Regency.
“These intensive patrols reflect the commitment of the Indonesian National Police to providing a sense of security for the community. The presence of personnel among residents also serves as a means to build strong communication and strengthen public trust in security forces,” said Brigadier General Faizal Ramadhani.
The former Deputy Chief of Papua Regional Police added that a humanistic approach remains one of the primary strategies in implementing the operation to create a safe and conducive environment in the region.
Meanwhile, Deputy Head of Damai Cartenz Operation 2026, Adarma Sinaga, explained that dialogic patrol activities will continue to be strengthened as part of efforts to maintain security and ensure the community feels safe while carrying out their daily activities.
According to Commissioner Adarma Sinaga, the direct presence of security personnel within communities is also an important step in detecting potential security disturbances at an early stage.
“Through routine and dialogic patrols, we hope the community will feel safer and more comfortable in their daily activities. The Indonesian National Police will continue to be present among the people to maintain security stability,” he said.
The Damai Cartenz Task Force 2026 emphasized that it will continue to enhance preventive patrols and human-centered approaches to ensure that the security situation remains conducive and that community activities in Puncak Regency, Central Papua, can proceed safely.
